Landing Gear System Engineer (Aerospace Design Engineer)
We are now looking for a Mechanical System Design Engineer (Aerospace Design Engineer) for our client, to join a high-performing team within the Landing Gear and Brake system technology area.
You will be a part of a diverse, collaborative and supportive organisation with an emphasis on professional growth and work-life balance.
You will work on designing functions in aircraft for different customers using mechanics, electronics and software. The work is done both in smaller assignments and in larger projects within the extensive international collaboration with subcontractors and partners.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Develop system and hardware of the Landing Gear and Brake system, which involves design, requirements and documentation.
* Ensure that the Landing Gear and Brake system is well integrated with other sub-systems in the aircraft.
* Participate in feasibility studies for new projects and products.
* Perform system investigations and design.
* Collaborate with several other areas internally at the company e.g. system safety, flight testing and maintenance, etc.
Requirements:
- You have experience in designing complex systems combined with the knowledge of mechanical system design engineering, aerospace system engineering, optimal control theory and fluid dynamics.
- You are open to learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. It is important that you understand the power of communication and that you enjoy working with others.
- You are a person with drive who is outgoing and good at making contacts.
- You have the ability to handle several tasks at the same time and work independently as well as in groups.
- You are fluent in both spoken and written English.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Bachelor degree in Engineering, e.g. aerospace, systems design, technical physics, mechanical engineering, or similar.
- Experience in the current or nearby technology field is a merit and experience of requirement management and verification of requirements is helpful.
- It is an advantage to have some knowledge in thermal physics and physical simulations.
